Bhopal The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that we have to make small businessmen of urban areas self-reliant. The ‘Pradhan Mantri Street Vendors Atmanirbhar Nidhi’ scheme launched to provide loan to the street vendors for self-employment will prove helpful in this work. An interest subsidy of 7 percent is being given by the Government of India, the remaining subsidy will be given by the state government. In this way, the urban street vendors will be able to get interest free loan of Rs. 10 thousand without guarantee from banks.
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan held meeting in connection to the P.M. Street Vendors Atmanirbhar Nidhi at Mantralaya. The Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Manoj Shrivastava, Principal Secretaries Shri Manoj Govil, Shri Nitesh Vyas, Shri Sanjay Shukla, Smt. Deepali Rastogi and other officers were present at the meeting.
